Results: 1) My client was charged with a serious sexual offense that would have required state time that the client register as a sex offender. When the Judge in the case made a questionable ruling over my objection on the day set for jury trial, I filed an appeal with the Court of Appeal and argued that my clients constitutional rights had been violated. The Court of Appeal found in my favor and ordered the Trial Court to dismiss all charges. 2) Client charged with 3 felony counts of forgery and identity theft. Prior to any court appearances, was able to discuss the case with the District Attorney and convince the District Attorney to dismiss all charges. 3) Client was charged with Driving Under the Influence with a blood alcohol level of over .12 and several witnesses who observed the client driving. Was able to win the DMV hearing and preserve my clients privilege to operate a motor vehicle. In court, was able to negotiate the case to a reckless driving, again preserving my clients Drivers License, and pay a minimal fine. 4) Client was charged with assault and battery and facing up to 1 year in county jail. The victim in the case had bruises and contacted the police immediately as well as made serious allegations that my client had sexually harassed her on numerous occasions. Through my investigation I noticed several inconsistencies in the police report filed by the victim, these inconsistencies were very subtle and slipped past the District Attorney when they initially reviewed the reports. After several lengthy discussions with the District Attorney, he was ultimately offered a reduced charge of disturbing the peace and avoided any and all jail time.
